I have two steering wheels for my TR4. The one it is currently wearing is
the leather-rim item sold by Vicky Brit (and I am sure, others). The horn
button is quite flush with the hub and carries a nice book/dragon-wing
Triumph emblem. This wheel is only a couple of years old (I have the
receipt from the PO) and is in virtually-new condition.
I'd like to try the larger-diameter original wheel for a while. Maybe even
sell the aftermarket one.
I saw no sure-fire non-destructive method for removing the horn button on
these wheels to access the steering-wheel nut. Since they are in such good
shape, I am loath to force (and therefore perhaps break) anything before
asking my Triumph brethren for advice.
