Replacing hook on TR3 hood latch ?

I need to replace the hook (finger lever) on the latch so that when the Dzus
fastners are released you can lift the hood (Bonnet). This seems to be put
on with a big rivet so I guess I will have to grind it off.

What do I use to replace it ? Another rivet ? (Where would I get one ? A
bolt ?

Ideas please.
