Will the questions never end, they ask?
What's the purpose of the nut on the face of the timing cover just above the
crankshaft? Does it need to be undone to remove the cover? My Haynes refers
to a stud but what's it attached to.
I may be overcautious here but I'm remembering the story of the guy who spent
his entire life with a screw in his bellybutton not knowing what it was there
for.
