After ruining a trunnion last week, I ruined one of the upper
balljoints this week, as well as (possibly) a set of upper a-arms.
Forgot to put the spacer in the a-arms, started tightening balljoint
home - realized arms were collapsing. Doh! Bent things back into
shape, tried to put it all together with the spacer, wound up
stripping the threads on the balljoint. Now I'm having trouble
getting a new balljoint to go in, especially since I'm reluctant to
overtighten! Perhaps the holes in the a-arms are ruined?
*sigh*
All this as well as realizing that the shock tower is slightly bent.
Sometimes it's a little depressing - will my '3 ever go again???
I remember someone mentioning a while ago that there is a replacement
upper a-arm setup that bestows the ability to adjust camber - was it
perhaps from Revington TR? I see no mention on their site.
Anyone used such a thing?
Do you like it?
About how much does it run? (and from where?)
TIA,
Dan
