That's odd.  A perusal of some aerial photos has shown that a conventional 
intersection
on the north side of Brattleboro Vermont has recently been replaced with a 
traffic
circle.  This is on the main drag north out of town.  Right goes to Keene New
hampshire and left goes to the freeway.
