Well, something broke in the TR3's differential today. I haven't yet gotten
a chance to look, but I did get it trailer'ed back to Dad's garage tonight.
I expect he'll open it up and see what's damaged.
On the chance that we don't have a suitable spare part, I'm asking in
advance if anyone has an early (4 bolt, square) TR3 Diff, with good gears
available for purchase. I expect I've killed another spider gear, but will
hopefully know more soon.
The reason I'm asking kind of in advance is that I was going to a car show
on Saturday. Once I know what I need, I'll be posting a request, hoping we
can complete the transaction before Friday, so I can get the car back and
running for the show.
I may very well be interested in gears regardless of what I broke this time,
as I seem to blow a rear end gear about once every 4 years or so.
Thanks in advance....
