With the TR's, you can pre-oil the engine by removing the distrubutor, and using a drill the drive the distributor/oil pump shaft, thus forcing oil into the galleries. Also, you can remove the spark plugs, thus relieving compression, and starting (duh...) and crank. Unless the bearings are TOTALLY dry, or the engine has been frozen, this works OK. James A.
