The pressure is effectively regulated by the spring in the fuel pump. 
The linkage to the camshaft only lifts the diaphragm (sucking gas from
the tank), the spring is what develops the pressure to the carbs.

Most automotive vacuum test gauges will read fuel pump pressure.
