70 is a bit high for the coil, but ground w2 and the relay ought to click.
If not use a FUSED wire and grab 12v at the battery apply it to W1 while W2
is grounded and it should click. If so the relay power coil is good, if not
trash it. With power applied to the W connections as indicated C1-C2 should
drop to 0 resistance. C1-C2 is a normally open switch, energizing the relay
should close the switch and energize the solenoid. Wired into the car and
with the car (or at least the key) turned on there should be 12 v. at C1
and C2 should go to 12v when the relay is energized. If you have 12v. at C1,
but no 12v at C2 with the relay energized, chuck it.

If the relay checks out and the solenoid energizes by grounding w2, then its
either the switch, the cut out switches at the tranny or the wiring in
between.

Does anyone know what the correct resistances are for an A type OD
relay? Mine read 70 ohms for W1-W2 and open for C1-C2. Thanks,Joe
