A friend of mine has recently acquired various Triumph PI bits. Included is
a very unusual Lucas metering unit - apparently controlled by mechanical
means (snail cam?) rather than vacuum. In all other respects it appears
identical to that fitted to TR6 PI and 2.5 PI saloon. The unit has various
numbers crudely engraved as follows - "SERIAL NO L2733", "73068A" and "3488"
My friend is keen to learn more about this unit - its application/technical
info etc.
Can anyone help? Jonmac??
