There is definitely a difference in sealed beam lights for right and left hand drive vehicles. The lamps or the boxes are usually marked, but you must be careful about reading exactly what is written. The boxes usually say right or left hand dipped, which is the direction the low beam is biased toward. Left hand drive cars are right hand dipped.
