Folks-
For all those who provided excellent information for rebuilding the
carbs, where to go and here's how you do it....thanks again. Idle
floats, so I need new jets and needles. I don't have the tools, machine
shop and means to do this delicate surgery stuff, I searched the US and
UK for New NOS carbs. found two new right ones for even later models, but
that's it. So Apple Hydraulics is where the carbs went for a complete
rebuild, they along my own mechanic swayed me away from the gross jets as
they seem to stick and flood after a while.
I will post final results after I get them back and dialed into the car.
One recommendation to the list: Lots of questions are asked (that other
members have an interest), lots of private emails then float around and
the resolution is kinda lost for others. Is it possible that the
originator of the problem also post a final resolution as to how the
problem was resolved so others can benefit?
Thanks-
Pouya
