The stripe is common to all Group 44 cars so I would propose it would be at home on any TR provided the stripe was green and the TR white! I've seen original D-Types and AC Aces with the same stripe - thin/wide/thin; wheel to wheel across the bonnet. The D and the Ace pre-date the 250 TR sorry TR250 (just a little difference there!) by quite a bit, so flattery goes back to at least the mid-fifties. Has anybody seen it on earlier cars?
