Your problem is not the booster, its the master cylinder. The only way for
brake fuild to enter the booster is by leaking from the master. The
function of the booster is a vacuum assist to your foot, it helps press the
master cylinder. Leaking fluid will run into the booster. It may be that
the booster is bad also, since its leaking fluid whereas it might oughta
just fill with it, but the first problem must be the master cylinder.

Subject: TR6: Achy Leaky Booster
The brake booster on my '72 TR6 is leaking. Of course, it's ruining paint
inside the engine bay. (This is why I hate DOT 4 in these cars, and will
change it out to DOT 5 now ...)
The leak is slow but sure, and appears at the bottom of the servo unit.
Question is, do I need a rebuild, or a new booster, and how do I tell the
difference. (There is, by the way, no noticeable drop in performance of the
unit.)
The PO who restored my car is unavailable, so I can't ask him what, if
anything, he did to the booster ...
