Darrel, I almost bought a car fitting that description here in Calgary back in the fall. Red 70 GT6+ with 13x5.5 aluminum slots with the slots painted red. I know TVR used these rims as stock in the 70's they where made by Wolfrace in the UK. But they look identical to the ET aluminum slots I put on my 1970 AMC AMX back in high school if I remember right I bought them at Sears when I worked there and a friend of mine bought the 13x5.5s for his Fiat X1/9 at the same time.
