Replacing the u-joints (TR6) seems to be a simple
operation, according to the factory manual. Remove
the (4) circlips, grasp the axle shaft, then RAP on
the yoke with a hammer til the bearing cups come
loose.

Ha ha ha. Those tech manual writers sure had a sence of humour, didn't
they?
Try two sockets, one just smaller than the U-joint cup,one big enough for
the cup to go into, and a big vice.
Or find a local machinist. Many parts stores will change them for you for
not enough money to make it worth my while to do it myself.
Good luck. You probably want to do one just to convince yourself to hire
it done next time.
