Bob, Make sure that the bearings and races are not scored, also check to make sure that the races are fully seated. If the races and bearings are ok, assuming that you have the right bearings and the proper spindle, try retorquing the castle nut down and spinning the rotor. You should torque it until the rotor will not spin freely, than back it off 1/4 turn. Then see if you have any free play in the hub.
