Hello John. Check the thin plastic sending tube that runs from the block to the back of the oil pressure gauge. These tubes often get pinched during battery replacement and will leak. Age is also taking a toll on them too, we replace an ever increasing number every year in the shop. The engine has to be running to detect the leak.... Alan Simpson, owner Rover Works B.C.
