The one currently under consideration resides in the dash of a
'73 TR6.  The PO reports that it works occasionally; I have yet
to see it register anything other than empty.  I figure the gauge
could be bad, the sender could be bad, or the wire between them
could (Gasp!  Say it ain't so!) be bad.

I can probably chase down the wires.  They either have continuity
and are insulated from the body, or not.  I haven't the foggiest
idea of how to test the sender or the gauge.
