So I brought my new old car home yesterday. Today, I was going
to drive it to a friends so I could nap through the Stupor Bowl,
and the battery was dead. I got about two Rrr ] out of it, and
then nothing. When I picked it up from the PO, he removed a
battery and jumper cables from the trunk indicating that they
didn't go with the car.
That was a clue.
It was no big deal, I just fired up my old old car ('73 Riveria)
and went to the party. While I was there, I started a list of
all the things I should check out/replace. So far, I have:
1) Flush fluid from clutch
2) Check voltage regulator
3) Flush radiator and heater core
4) Replace hoses
5) Replace belt
6) Tune up
7) Oil change
8) Flush brake lines
9) New battery - probably
10) Check alternator
Is there anything else I should look at, replace, or hold a
midnight sacrifice for?
