So as not to be remiss, I received some help recently from two list members
whom I call friends. First, I received an offer from Fred Thomas to powder
coat my exhaust manifold, valve cover, and air cleaner cover. I mailed them
out, he worked on them, and has now sent them back. He wasn't able to find
a match for argent silver that was quite right, but I can paint them. He
did, however, finish the exhaust manifold -- which is really what I was most
needing anyway. Thank you Fred for your help!
The second public "thank you" goes to Tom DiIulio (a fellow Denverite) that
many of you know for his witty thoughts about the restoration process of his
'76 TR6. I was in need of an original steering wheel, and didn't like the
ones being sold by the big-3. I knew Tom had changed his wheel, and asked
what he wanted for his original one. He came by my house today, and brought
his steering wheel (which is in great shape). He said he didn't want
payment. I guess he'll be borrowing something from me sometime. 8^) Thank
you Tom for your steering wheel.
Thanks to both of you again, and thanks for all the help this list provides.
Restoring these cars would be much harder without you all.

bushings and shaft, then onto the engine.)
