Piggott's Book, the Original TR, gives details of the contents of the
typical tool roll. There were a few varients owing to tool suppliers
shortages.
Basically the kit contained:
Three A/F size open ended spanners made by Williams Superslim in black,
an adjustable Gordons of Sheffield 'F' type spanner,
a screw driver (the wire type with a loop on one end),
a wheel trim removal tool,
headlamp trim removal tool,
a Tecalamit grease gun,
a Lucas points setting tool,
and a Thor hide and copper hammer if wires fitted.
Thats about it unless I have forgotten to include something.

The most difficult item to find for me was the Lucas points setting tool.
This being only the size of a key was probably the first item to be lost
from the kit. One was sold on eBay recently for mucho dollars. I have two
just in case.
