Listers, I have a leather jacket that I tore this weekend. The cuts are only in the top face of the leather. The surface is pulled back in a flap. Does anyone know of a good way to glue the surface back down? I can smooth out the flap, actually a series of flaps of about 1/4" in size, so that the tear is virtually invisible. I guess this topic is not totally non-lbc; I'm sure some listers have experience with leather seat repair on their beloved TRs. TIA, David Brady 68 TR250 97 993 95 R1100GS /// /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// |
