David, I have always been taught that each cylinder should be within 10% of
the others.  I would not worry about it.  If you JUST finished a rebuild I
would guess it to be closer though.  Did you redo the valves?  that could be
your problem as well.

Hi Folks,

I warmed up the motor, removed all spark plugs,
held the throttle wide open, and performed a
compression test on each cylinder in turn. Here's
what I got:

Cyl       lbs/in2
1         180
2         180
3         180
4         180
5         180
6         190  <---- The only odd ball.

Seems kind of strange that #6 is so much different
from the other 5. This is a freshly rebuilt engine.
Does this seem okay to you guys?
