Hello and Happy New Year to the list,
I'm in the process of converting my 71 TR6 to the Bosch Ford Fiesta
alternator. Just as advertised, the unit bolts right in. My problem is
that the alternator did not come with the fan or pulley. The Lucas one
isn't even close. Ford no longer sells the pulley or fan new, and after
scouring wrecking yards, I've come up empty handed. Someone thought that
VW, or Audi may have used the same alternator at one time and that some VW
yards may be a good next step. Has anyone else had this experience?
