Any guidelines on adjusting the shims behind the backing plate. I am just putting back the ones that were there. The axle has some movement in and out. Not much, a millimeter to be exact. Does that sound about right? I am thinking the conical bearing should seat right up against the race, but maybe a millimeter of play is necessary. THX: JP '59TR3A TS40984 "Parts All Over The House" |
