What percentage of total automobile miles driven can be attributed to
pre-1976 vehicles? I doubt that it is more than a few percent. How about
pre-1968, when emission controls started to appear? Probably less than one
percent. I don't see how "classic" cars that are properly tuned can be
contributing significantly to air pollution.

Wondering what will happen to our "smog producing" cars if our tree
hugging VP gets elected? Any thoughts on this from anyone who has read
his book?
Stu in asbestos suit.
