The screw arrangment on the back is the same. There is one circular opening
on the back, but it doesn't have a tubular extention so the light socket can
be attached. The "old" tachometer had two openings with the tubular
extensions. The markings on the face are similar. In one case markings are
closer to the center than near the edge of the dial (a poor reproduction?)
Nevertheless, the tachometer does seem to work quite well.
