I recently received a small package as a gift from the States containing a CD, a book and some photographs. These came via FedEx as a gift to me from a friend and there was supporting paperwork to confirm that was the way it went. It's taken six weeks to persuade FedEx that I am not due to pay US import duties because the 'delinquent consignor' (their words, not mine) has declined to pay them himself. Dammit, it was he who generously sent me the gift - and not the other way about. Jonmac |
