During the last 48 hours or so, my ISP has periodically hurled a pile of
messages at me
from so many people about my perhaps inevitable departure from the list. Many
have
expressed themselves in ways that have greatly moved me and caused me to have
to swallow
hard. I just don't have sufficient command of the English language to convey my
very
sincere thanks to everyone who wrote to me and who said such generous (and in
my view)
undeserving things. It is indeed a privilege to be part of such a group of
people - and I
thank you all for your friendship. Of late, two people in particular, have
tried very hard
and for nmot the first time to persuade me to join with you in 2001 in
Colorado. Believe
me, I was with you in both Portlands in spirit and if I can, I'll try to be
with you at
Breckenridge - in person. This is subject of course to the protocols of an
interloper from
across the pond horning in on your parade and the way things are going in my
garage, if
that bl***y Triumph still persists on running on just five cylinders instead of
six, I
might just bring it with me as well and you can all play a part in getting it
sorted<g> We
can then all go for a nice, comfortable, high speed ride around the mountains
on the wrong
side of the road, five up and in comfort.

Thanks again guys - and gals, I'm still in lurk mode on the main list, so I
haven't gone
just yet.

Jonmac
