Derek,
You neglected to mention that they also run on 12 VDC.  THat means there would 
not require any power conversion.  However, I think that
unless they were all running at the same time, you would actually be 
restricting air movement by all the plastic in front of (or
behind) the radiator.  Check out the dual fans on my race Spit  
http://www.driveableclassics.com/images/curry/engine1.jpg.  I installed
them for about $120 (US) and although they draw about 15 amps together, they 
work quite well.
