Scott,

Go to the Moss Motors web site http://www.mossmotors.com/. There a few
problems with the site, but if you click on the TR-2-4A at the left, you
should be able to navigate the site to the Tr-2-3 tech tips. There you will
find one person's account of replacing his calipers. When I did mine, I
pretty much followed his steps, and had no problems.

YMMV, Dennis

Subject: Installing New Caliper Pistons

Started rebuilding my Girling Calipers on my '59 TR3A tonight and
am having a real hard time sliding the new SS pistons into the bore.
Cleaned the bore and groves with brake cleaner and there are no
significant scratches or marks. The sealing ring seems to fit fine
but there is a very slight lip. Lubed all with fluid.

Any suggestions on how to get the pistons to go in far enough
so that I can engage the outer dust cover lip into the piston
grove.

TIA
