TR6 PI air cleaner bracket question

The plenum chamber connects via a bracket to the top 2 studs that sit in the
engine mounting boss on the side of the block. The bracket is a "U" shaped
piece of flat steel about 1/2" wide by 1/8" thick. the 2 free ends connect
to the chamber with 1/4" UNF bolts. There are holes in the bracket to go
over the 5/16" studs fitted into the block
