Folks,

I am interested in having my TR250 body/chassis [stripped down to
the bare essencials,
of course] chemical dipped to remove rust and paint prior to major
repairs. A couple of
questions from the collective wisdom of the group:

1) I live in the Seattle area - anyone know of a outfit nearby that
can do this? The closest
I can find is just south of Vancouver [Canada]. Not too bad
distance-wise but I have concerns
about crossing the border with TR in tow. Since they caught that
fellow smuggling bomb
fixins they have been VERY particular...

2) Those who have had experience in this (if anyone) - what is/are
your opinion[s]? Is it worth
the effort [doing it the other way is a LOT of effort...and is pricy]
? Approximately what would
be the cost?

From what I have seen [not first hand experience] it seems a very
through way to get all
the crud, paint and rust off...even in the impossible to get to areas.
But my inquiries to the
canadian outfit has not turned up a response yet. Any and all info
would be wonderful
and greatly appreciated before I bust my long distance bill.

Thanks to all in advance,
Dave in Seattle
