Unleaded petrol - UK listers experience please!

I'm just getting my car back on the road after a year being laid up - now
that leaded petrol has been gone awhile (and hearing bad reports about LRP)
has anyone found any additive to be better for running with unleaded petrol?
Has anyone had problems with rubber components perishing due to certain
chemicals in unleaded petrol?
hoping to avoid early fuel problems,
