I don't know who originally sent the e-mail, but many Indian grocery stores,
in the US, will convert a PAL to NTSC tape for around $10

Andy,

Thanks, I know about the different formats. That's the nice thing about
stanards- there are so many to choose from. I figured 1 step at a time. If
I can get in US Standard format great, if only in PAL, I'll look around here
and in the UK for someone that can convert it- or next time I go over I can
bring my portable VCR and hook it to UK VCR.

Thanks also to Glen Rattman who also sent a message on the different
formats.

Bob
