Subject: | TR6: Oil Pan Sealing Options? |

Hi y'all: The bottom end rebuild on my TR6 is going well, and I'm ready to reunite the oil pan with the car. I'm curious what people have been using -- if anything -- to seal the deal on a straight and flush pan flange. I'm of a mind to use an oil-resistant silicone (the light blue stuff), because if I need to pull it again to check on things, I won't have to spend an hour scrubbing off the old sealer. Or is it possible to use just a gasket alone? -- Martin Secrest 72 TR6 73 GT6 |
