Henry - 501653/502602/501528 would be correct. I had not heard about a USA
version of the Spare Parts Catalog but anything is possible.
The hardware catalog was probably available at one time, but I haven't seen
one in my searching and it would be interesting to see what it is.
The 2nd edition TSOA handbook came out with the introduction of the TR4,
which would have been at about the same time as 81759 (I have 81802). It
is a blue covered booklet about 5 x 7. The 1st edition came out in 1953/54.
3rd in about 1965 and the last one in about 1970.

Subject: TR3A manuals
I'm trying to figure out whether the parts, workshop, and owner's manuals I
have
are the right ones for my TR3A, which is a fairly late one: TS81759. Can
anyone
tell me if these are the right editions for coverage of that serial number?
part #
- 501653 "Triumph Sports Car, Spare Parts Catalog", Stanpart, Fourth Edition
- 502602 "Triumph TR2, Service Instruction Manual Incorporating Supplement
for TR3 Model", Third Addition, 6th Printing
- 501528 "Triumph Sports Car TR3, Instruction Book", Sixth Addition, 3rd
Printing
The TRA's "Judging Standards and Restoration Guidlines" lists 501653 as
"501653/USA".
Was there a special addition for the cars exported to the USA?
The TRA also mentions:
- 514264 Stanpart Hardware Catalogue for use with Standard Triumph Vehicles
- Triumph Sports Owners Association Handbook, 2nd Edition
Should I be pursuing these two manuals as well?
thanks,
-Henry
