I'll take a stab at this one.
a) Posi-drive = Probably some OEM's trade name for limited slip, like "Traction
Lock", "Sure Grip" or the over-used "Posi-Traction".
b) Locked = Really not a differential at all. Usually created by racers on a
budget by internal welding of the differential to create a solid union between
the two half shafts. NOT streetable. Might also refer to a "Detroit Locker"
which I'll let someone with the appropriate experience explain.
c) Limited Slip = Some type of device in the differential actually limits the
amount of slip. The simplest designs use a series of clutches to cause
friction which will always "try" to make the wheels turn together. There are
better forms of limited slip like "Torsen" that uses a system including a worm
gear (no clutches to wear out).
