I have done the same as Frank, I like to disconnect the fuel line going
into the
fuel pump, and run a hose from a small bottle of gas. If you put even a
few gallons
of gas into a tank with a hole in it or bad fuel lines, it can be a real
mess to clean up.
With a small bottle (<quart) you don't waste the "juice" (>$1.40/gallon)
