In the interim, before hydrogen and electric power happens, LPG and CNG are
the way to go.

I figured we'd convert at least the TR4s to hydrogen? I've seen a battery
powered MGB on the web. It won't win any originality awards, though. I
figure
that our culture is so-o-o car-oriented that someone will figure something
out.
I'll bet there won't be many sport-utes in use, however.
Outside Magazine from a couple months ago had a write-up on electric cars,
had a
'72 Datsun (sedan, not a Z-car) that was HOT. The guys used them in drag
racing.
