You call that hot! Over here it's been between 35 and 37 degrees
Celcius for the past five days (95 - 100ish deg F) - not really
the most pleasant weather for driving a PI TR6, as the fuel pump
overheats and get vapour lock after about 20 minutes of driving.
Must get around to buying a priming pump soon, but it's too damn
hot to go to a wrecker...

BTW - does anyone know of a model of car (which is likely to exist
in Oz) which has an electric fuel pump external to the tank, but
which is low pressure (around 5-10 psi)? Jobbers at wrecker seem
to have a penchant for not knowing what the various bits of cars
are capable of... (for e.g. ask them for a 5psi external electric
fuel pump and they'd probably say: "No don't think I've ever seen
any of those.", while if you asked for a fuel pump from model x
which has that rating they'd say: "Yeah, gots stacks of those, just
don't seem to be able to shift 'em."

It's hot! in the 80's, prime daytime LBC driving is almost over. Still
extremely nice at night though!
