I'm trying to remove my brake drums and they *appear* to be stuck. I've removed the cotter pin and nut, the 2 recessed screw and have loosened the adjusting bolt on the back about 3 turns. The manual says to loosen completely by turning the adjusting bolt. How far can you turn this bolt before it falls out and is that a problem to be avoided? Does the drum require any *persuasion* to get it loose? TIA Bob Danielson 75 TR6 - status at http://pages.cthome.net/BobD |
