How much slop should there be in the distributer shaft? I was replacing my pioints and rotor tonight and when I put the rotor on the top of the shaft, I can turn the shaft a good 5 to 10 degrees back and forth. Is this right? Now that I have a new rotor and points the car is running really well. So I'm not asking because I have a problem. I am just asking out of curiosity. Thanks all.
