Dave, yes & no, newer cars that have the 7K oil change also have fuel
injection, our cars have a great tendency to leak down gas while sitting,
this in turn dilutes the oil, washes down the walls and passages, which in
turn causes a lot of metal wear, smell the oil in your T/R and then in your
new car, quite a difference. The price of a oil & filter change (less than
10.00) is a small investment for longer engine life. "FT"
