I have a 76 tr6 with a bolt where the egr valve should be . Engine consumes
oil and carb that hose should be connected to runs lean ( i.e white plugs)
and I can't syncronize the carbs. My supplier tells me egr valve is no
longer available.
1- anyone know source for egr.
2- is missing egr cause of above problems( compression is good wet or dry)

Rod,

1) No. Try the wrecking yards.
2) Not likely. The port is small enough that it doesn't contribute
significantly to the total mix. Especially under driving conditions.
Try putting tape over it (or cap it some way) and see if it makes a
difference. I'll bet it won't. Odds are the problem is in the carbs
themselves.

Good luck

Dave
