well here goes even though my vehicle list is a lot smaller than most I have had a lot of fun driving all of them and nearly divorced over a few of them 1980 Honda moped 1979 Honda cd 175 1980 Suzuki gt 380 1984 Yamaha lc250 1968 (I think) Ford cortina mk 2 1982 Honda cb 750 1973 Triumph Dolomite sprint (Actually triumphed in this car and now been married 20 years) 1970 ish Ford Granada 3 litre S (Writter off by a reliant robin) (3 wheeled plastic pig) 1983 Ford Capri 2.3 Taunus (German Lhd, could cope with 1 kid) Age unknown Citroen 2 CV 1986 Opel Manta gte (could just about cope with a wife and 2 kids) 1984 Volvo 740 estate (a surprise visit from the stork so the manta had to go) 1981 Kawasaki Gpz 1100 (Perfect kids not allowed) 1991 Mazda 323f (Bought in Cyprus and we liked it that much on returning to the uk we shipped it back and still have it) 1989 Honda VFR 400 (Broke my heart leaving this in Cyprus) 1972 Triumph GT6 (Daily driver for over a year until I left the forces) 1991 Rover 216 (for my wife as she wont drive the Triumph) And as time goes by I now find myself looking for another Dolomite Sprint and a Yamaha Thundercat but both will have to wait until we buy a house, And the GT might have to go before that to help pay for the deposit Still I will fight the wife on this right up until I lose thanks to everyone that has joined in with this thread it has been very interesting Paul Stapleton |
