Here goes gang,
1947 Hudson (straight eight with four barrel carb, suicide gangster doors,
melt it down and you could make 7 Spitfires)
1952 Ford station wagon (flat head eight, it could lay rubber and had a big
back seat)
1962 Renault Dauphine ( French blue with white racing stripes and Touring 1
letters on door......23 hp, 3 speed gearbox, 2 speed horn) Demolished enroute
from summer semester at Penn State
1967 Renault R10 (Now that was a car! Mercedes seats, four speed, 40 mpg dark
green and my first new car)
Short break for war in Vietnam and Laos....carried photograph of GT6+ in my
ruck sack.....drooled over it between operations on the Ho Chi Minh trail
1969 GT6+ (Purchased new from Joe Cam's Autorama- Triumph and Morgan dealer
who raced Morgans. Made many trips from Ft. Bragg, NC to New Jersey. After
two engine rebuilds, one trans rebuild and a replaced rear end it burnewd a
valve and I traded it for-
1973 Toyota Corolla 5 speed coupe ( Fun car. Put in BRE handling package,
sway bars and Stebro exhaust. Out handled my friends Shelby Mustang)
1974 Honda Civic automatic (wife's car)
1965 Mercury Comet wagon ( inherited from father in law)
1975 Chevy Blazer- found out you can't pull a boat with a staion wagon!
1986 Toyota Celica GTS 5 speed ( Wow, first new car in a long time- fast and
fun)
1990 Ford Explorer- pulls the boat
1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX ( AWD, Turbo 200 hp- now this is fun- how do you
top that-
1992 Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 (AWD, twin turbo, all wheel steering- faster and
even more fun- liked to bait Corvettes on rainy days and have fun with the
AWD and traction control
1994 Mazda Miata automatic ( wife's car- she never would get a car with a
manual tarnsmission)
1970 GT6+ ( BRG with miniltes- 67,000 original miles- purchased from Team
Triumph in Warren OH- under restoration and modification of rear suspension
to eliminate rotoflex and leaf spring.
1984 Chevy Celebrity wagon- can't seem to get away from those wagon's
1988 Buick Century- partner for life's car until spousal support payments end
in March 2001
