76 tr6 window regulator replacement

I am new to this list and would like to hear from anyone with experience
in replacing a window regulator. The Haynes manual identifies
disconnection of the arms from the channel located at the base of the
glass by removing spring clips and leather washers.

The connection of the arms to the channel appear to be fixed. The glass
rides on rollers which are connected to these arms.
