John, I have stock(+/-) height,uprated springs front and back and slightly
tighter shocks.  The ride is MUCH more civilized this way.  When you
bottom-out, the
ride is much more harsh than a tight suspension would ever give.  If you
want to
moderate the ride, keep the uprated springs and _stock_ shocks.  I am not
sure how much
difference the tighter shocks make until they get REALLY tight.

I think your set-up will be great.  The extra height you have gives you
some more
suspension travel before you hit the stop and make a BIG jolt to your wife.
